Rebuilding Together Greater Florida & Orange County are bringing together volunteers, community partners, and local businesses to revitalize neighborhoods and improve the homes of seniors and residents who need support.
This year’s event will take place in Tildenville, a small, historic unincorporated community just southwest of Winter Garden. Founded in 1876 by citrus pioneer Luther Fuller Tilden, Tildenville has maintained a close-knit rural identity even as the surrounding West Orange County area continues to grow and change.
Orange County has identified this neighborhood for a concentrated revitalization effort, where 14 families and homes have been selected and will receive exterior beautification and needed repairs.
On October 23, volunteers will come together to support projects including:
Exterior painting
We would love to have your organization participate in this meaningful day:
Volunteering as an individual or team of 10-15:
RTGFL & Orange County will provide:
All materials to complete volunteer work
Breakfast, Lunch & Refreshments
This is a great opportunity to make a visible, hands-on impact while helping preserve and strengthen a historic Central Florida community.
Thank you again for your consideration. We hope you’ll join us in Tildenville on Friday, October 23, 2026.
